In-Person Psychotherapy
Here are the precautions I am taking to ensure your safety and reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19
At this time, in-person services are available for fully-vaccinated individuals. For those that cannot or will not obtain COVID-19 vaccination, I will continue to offer online therapy until it is safe for everyone in the community to meet in person again.
You will be sent a preliminary “in-person readiness” questionnaire to ensure the appropriateness and necessity of in-person treatment. This is meant to assess the benefit/risk of in-person meeting.
You’ll be asked to sign a COVID-19 In-Person consent form.
You’ll also be asked to report any COVID-19 symptoms, risk, and recent exposure prior to each appointment.
I will maintain a minimum of a 15 minute buffer between all in-person appointments for ventilation and sanitization of the space.
I will utilize a UV air sanitizer and ion purifier in the office.
I will open windows between appointments to ventilate the space.
I will maintain 6 ft distance from client seats.
I will revert to use of online therapy in the event that you or I may have been exposed to COVID-19, are exhibiting symptoms, or if current community conditions render in-person services as no longer safe.
I will allow free cancellation of appointments in the event of COVID-19 illness or quarantine.
I invite the discussion of the risks and safety of COVID-19 vaccines based on available scientific research endorsed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
I will remain up to date on current safety guidance provided by CDC and WHO.
I will keep my own COVID-19 vaccination current and obtain booster shots when necessary and available.
